Scott Walker is President, and CEO of BillMatrix Corporation, an automated bill payment company utilizing both the Internet and telephone (“IVR” Interactive Voice Response). Since assuming ownership of the company in early 1999, Mr. Walker has built the company from 4 employees to over 170 today and experienced over an 65% annualized growth rate for the last six years. Currently, the company processes over $5 billion in bill payments annually with over 120 billers, including several Fortune 500 companies. Nationally, BillMatrix is considered the leading third party IVR bill payment company. The company was recognized for three years in a row as one of the 100 fastest growing companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. BillMatrix was acquired by Fiserv on August 12, 2005 for $350 million.

Since 2002, Scott Walker has been a member of the Board of Directors, and served as Treasurer, of the Direct Response Forum a think tank which addresses issues, development of rules and regulations, and emerging payment methodologies for the card-not-present industry. In addition, Mr. Walker has served for three years on the Thunderbird Global Council, a council which advises the Board of Trustees of the Thunderbird Graduate School and is Chairman for the advisory board for the Center for Global Entrepreneurship at the school. Mr. Walker is also actively involved in the National ACH Association (“NACHA”) through its Council for Electronic Billing and Payment (“CEBP”). Additional activities for Mr. Walker include the Merchant Risk Council as co-chair for Emerging Technologies. During 2003, Mr. Walker received an outstanding alumni achievement award for “entrepreneurship” from Thunderbird. Mr. Walker also received a 2003 and 2004 nomination for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year. Mr. Walker received a BA from Utah State University (1977) and a MBA from Thunderbird Graduate School (1981).

Mr. Walker is a resident of Dallas, Texas, married and the father of three children.
